The Airdock is so large, rain clouds have formed inside of it.

False – This myth began in 1930, when cartoonist Robert Ripley included a caption stating the rain falls inside the airdock due to sudden temperature changes outside of the airdock. According to a statement from Karl Arnstein, who designed the airdock, the relative humidity was very high in the airdock and a sudden drop in temperature cause condensation of the humidity which fell to the floor in a mist. It doesn’t appear to have been enough to be considered rain fall.

Read a pamphlet about the Goodyear Airdock from www.SummitMemory.org at http://www.summitmemory.org/u?/fulton,93.  Although the pamphlet is not dated, it was obviously published shortly after the airdock was built.
