The Airdock is so large, rain clouds have formed inside of it.
False – This myth began in 1930, when cartoonist Robert Ripley included a caption stating the rain falls inside the airdock due to sudden temperature changes outside of the airdock. According to a statement from Karl Arnstein, who designed the airdock, the relative humidity was very high in the airdock and a sudden drop in temperature cause condensation of the humidity which fell to the floor in a mist. It doesn’t appear to have been enough to be considered rain fall.
